Radley Schools Group is transforming prep school education with the introduction of the Compass Curriculum across its prep schools in September 2026. The new curriculum will benefit 1,335 children at Barfield Prep, Beeston Hall, Chandlings Prep, Cothill, Kitebrook Prep, Mowden Hall School and West Hill Park.

Developed by leading prep and senior school executive, Compass is designed to educate the whole child – nurturing young people of outstanding character and purpose.

Built around four key areas – Navigate, Engage, Strive and Wonder – the curriculum focusses on leadership, communication and analytical thinking, to extend learning beyond each school’s existing traditional academic and co-curricular programme and to ensure pupils arrive at their senior schools as confident, curious and capable learners with strong academic foundations and judgement. Pupils will also take part in collaborative, project-based work with peers from across Radley Schools Group, and will attend joint residential camps in the UK. Their achievements across the programme will culminate in the Compass Award, celebrating their personal growth and accomplishment across the four pillars of the programme.
